ANNOUNCEMENT OF VAULT CLOSURE

The Jericho Youth Society (The VAULT Youth Drop-In Centre) will cease operations effective December 31, 2009 due to insufficient financial resources and limited organizational capacity. We do not have the necessary financial resources to retain staff and run programs in 2010 for the youth of our community. As well, we have a shortage of board members and key volunteers. During the next three months we will progress the work of dissolving the organization.

We wish to thank all of the individuals, businesses, churches, service and health organizations, other non profits, United Way, foundations, City of Cold Lake, FCSS, MD of Bonnyville, provincial and federal governments, schools, RCMP, and oil companies that have supported the VAULT since it opened in October 2005. It has been a rewarding four years for all involved and we have enjoyed serving and working alongside the members of our community.
